ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula has denied rumours that he already knows the outcome of uMkhonto Wesizwe (MK) registration case.
The Supreme Court of Appeal Electoral Court in Bloemfontein, Free State, was supposed to hand down the judgment on Monday, 25 March, but there were unexplained delays.
X user Lord Spencer had tweeted: "BREAKING: the rogue informants at the Electoral Court have briefed, through an SMS, Fikile Mbalula that the ANC won its case against the IEC. The court will order the IEC tomorrow to deregister five political parties, including the MK party."
The user didn't say where he received the information.
He further said: "Discretion will be given to IEC, ''If the law allows'', to be re-registered these political parties, but as we know, the law won't allow it. The ANC Top 6 and KZN ANC will be informed tonight. A huge sigh of relief for them. IEC will also be threatened not to appeal the judgment."
Mbalula replied to Spencer and said the tweet was spreading propaganda.

He tweeted: "1. This is pure propaganda intended to cause chaos in our country leading up to the elections.
2. That’s an impeachable misconduct for a judge(s).
3. Judges cannot share judgment with one party to the exclusion of the other party prior to it been handed down.
4. This person must report those judges to the Judicial Services Commission and open a case at the nearest police station rather than share propaganda on social media.
5. This type of conduct is unpatriotic and treasonous, to say the least."
The ANC wants former president Jacob Zuma's party to be deregistered as a political party from the Electoral Commission (IEC).
The ruling party told the court last week the MK's registration was unlawful.
The ANC said that there were procedural flaws in the way MK was registered.
