THE search for the missing 87-year-old gogo Khubani Mkhavele continues.
Gogo, who is known as Nwa Joe from Chavani Village in Limpopo, has been missing for almost three months.
Her family's desperate search for answers is turning into a gripping mystery.
Gogo Khubani has been missing since 22 October 2023.
At the time of her disappearance, she was staying with her daughter. It has been reported that shortly before her disappearance, she told her daughter that she wanted to check her home, which is five kilometres from her daughter's place.
She has not been seen or heard of since and the family is concerned about her safety.
Cate Maluleke, the family's spokeswoman told Daily Sun that they are still searching and hoping for a miracle.

"We're not coping at all. The fear of the unknown, not knowing where our grandmother is, it’s very devastating.
"As the only child, my mum is going through a hard time and it’s very difficult for us and her grandchildren," she said.
The mystery surrounding her disappearance has become the talk of the village and everyone is speculating about what might have happened to their beloved grandmother.
Maluleke added that her gogo's absence has left a void not only in her family and among her relatives, but also in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
"We feel so helpless and wish we could find her alive and safe," she said.
Vhembe police spokesman Sergeant Vuledzani Dathi said investigations are continuing into the case of missing person Khubani Mkhavele.
"We are asking anyone who has information that could help reunite her with her family to come forward. They can contact CrimeStop on 08600 10111, the nearest police station or via MySAPSApp," he said.
