MATRICS across the country sat for their Accounting Paper one on Thursday, 16 November.
After writing, matrics had mixed emotions, but many complained about time allocation, wishing it could have been three hours instead of two.
Mpilo Buthelezi (18) and Reatile Moji (18) from Ifa Lifa Secondary in KwaThema said question one was a nightmare.
"We don't know what is going to happen in paper 2. But we hope for the best," said Mpilo.
On the other hand, Mbali Masuku (19) from Springs Secondary said despite the time allocation, the paper was alright.
She says out of the 150 marks, she's hoping for at least 120 marks.
Thabo Mbatsane (18), also from Springs Secondary, echoed the same sentiments.
He said the paper was fair and expected to scoop 110 marks.

Matrics are going to write Accounting Paper Two on Friday, 24 November. The interviewed pupil said load shedding has never disturbed their exams or their studies so far.
Meanwhile, in Durban, Yolisah Myeni (17), from Inhlakanipho High School situated in KwaMashu, KZN, said she was scared in the morning before she wrote the paper.
"But as we had enough time to study, I'm confident that I will pass. I think I will get 70%," she said.
Nkululeko Zwane (19), also from Inhlakanipho High School, said the paper was fair, but he still needed to finish it.
He said it would have been great for him if the paper was more than two hours. "I'm hoping for the best. I think I'll get 50%. I got enough time to study, so I'll definitely pass even though I didn't finish," he said.
Kwanele Myadi (19) from Inhlakanipho High School said: "I expected the paper to be difficult, but I did cope because I studied hard. We also had extra lessons, which are helpful."
Samkele Zuma (18) from Inhlakanipho High School said: "I'm aiming for 70%. I was well prepared and confident about this paper."
