GB WHATSAPP is a version of WhatsApp created by third-party developers who wanted to add more features to the app.

Since last year, GB WhatsApp has been making the rounds on the internet, with many opting to use it instead of the original.

It has the same WhatsApp-like experience for users, but with extra features including using dual WhatsApp accounts on the same device.

With GB WhatsApp, you can hide read receipts, send high-resolution images, auto-reply, have extra characters in a status update and more.

According to India TV, using it can get your original WhatsApp account banned permanently.

GB WhatsApp is also said to compromise privacy, as there are no well-known sources for downloading the app.

According to WhatsApp FAQs, unsupported apps, such as WhatsApp Plus, GB WhatsApp, or apps that claim to move your WhatsApp chats between phones, are altered versions of the app. It said the unofficial apps were developed by third parties and violated their terms of service. WhatsApp didn’t support these third-party apps because it couldn’t validate their security practices.

“If you don’t switch to the official app after being temporarily banned, your account might be permanently banned from using WhatsApp,” the platform warned.
