BEWARE of Covid-19 and keep adhering to the regulations.

So says former SABC Xhosa newsreader Zodwa Nogilana.

This comes after Zodwa and her teenage daughter recently tested positive for the virus.

She told Daily Sun she got the shock of her life when she went to the doctor after experiencing symptoms of the virus.

Zodwa said she went to the doctor with her daughter and when she received the news that they were both infected, she felt like her world was crumbling in front of her.

Zodwa said as a health-conscious person, the news caught her by surprise.

“I am your normal health freak who exercises and eats healthily.

“Since the pandemic hit our shores, I’ve always been cautious but I guess this virus can catch anyone at any given time,” she said.

“I’m just glad that my daughter and I are okay. I just want to caution people out there to look out for themselves, especially during this festive season.

“We are dealing with a killer virus.”
