DANCER and entertainer Zodwa Libram, affectionately known as Zodwa Wabantu, says fame is nothing compared to what she is busy with right now – which is working for her ancestors.

The 36-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday, 21 June, to share that she enjoyed working for her amadlozi more than anything.

Zodwa came into fame when she started entertaining people with her exotic dance moves across the country at big events. And now, it seems as if she is ready to call it quits and focus on her ancestors.

This after numerous stories she recently shared with Daily Sun, that her ancestors needed more of her time and attention. And this even led to her often missing gigs and events.

The dancer wrote: “I’m choosing idlozi. I am very wealthy and ngiyinkosazana yasebukhosini under Amahlubi clan inkosi imina. Fame is nothing to me compared to what I am and becoming.”

Zodwa said in the caption that the horn she was holding on the photo was 133 years old and belonged to her great-great-grandfather.
