THE Limpopo Artists Movement (LAM) welcomes the new sport, arts and culture minister!
Chairman of LAM Mpho "Mphoza" Mashabela, told Daily Sun that they are happy with the cabinet reshuffle.
This comes after Zizi Kodwa was announced at the new sport, arts and culture minister on Monday, 6 March during President Cyril Ramaphosa's cabinet reshuffle.
"We are relieved, and we welcome the new mister. This is a victory for us all," he said.
Mphoza said that LAM is excited that the president has finally conceded to their countless letters, demanding an overhaul of the ministry of sport, arts and culture.

"Under Mthethwa's leadership, artists endured hardships of the Covid-19 pandemic where relief funds were squandered. We welcome new Minister Zizi Kodwa with a sense of optimism lured by his youthful outlook," said Mphoza.
The spokesperson of LAM, Ndivhuho Luvhengo, told the SunTeam that this is what they have been waiting for.
"Nathi Mthethwa's Cultural Creative Federation of SA has done nothing to assist artists during Covid-19. Artists are being killed. AKA's killers haven't been found yet. It's time Mthethwa calls it a day," Ndivhuho said.
