SINGER and songwriter Zahara's cousin Oyama Dyosiba says he's heartbroken.
Oyama said his beloved sister and friend is no longer with him when he needs her. He said that as her former manager, he will never forget how strong she was.
Oyama from the Eastern Cape said he still can't believe that his best cousin Bulelwa "Zahara" Mkutukana (36) is gone.
The Joburg-based businessman and family member told Daily Sun that he'll remember the late singer for her charm and laughter, as well as the cousin she was to him and the fact that they spent so much time together.
Oyama said they both shared a lot in their lives.
He said Zahara had a beautiful heart and was full of love. Oyama told Daily Sun he'll always cherish the memories they created together in life.

"We started our journey in 2016. That's when we started our project Zahara Army. In 2019, she started going through challenges and everyone knew she was my family. Many people told me what they had seen on social media, and I reached out," he said.
He said they set up the foundation to help young talent and also do charity work.
Oyama said they managed to create great things together, adding that they had wonderful moments together.
He said they did many big tours abroad, including Europe, Canada and Africa.
Oyama said they travelled for two years and recorded her album Nqaba Yam in 2021.
"I'm very proud of what we achieved together. To her beloved fans, I want to say it's okay."
He said he will also keep Zahara's legacy alive.
