WENDY Parker, a former reality show star and the wife of injured soccer player, Bernard Parker, has written a heartwarming message to her husband.

On Wednesday 18 October, shortly after the 58th minute, Parker, who plays for TS Galaxy, was tackled by Mamelodi Sundowns' Bongani Zungu and suffered a horrific leg injury.

This tackle has divided Mzansi and angered many of Parker’s fans.

Some accused Zungu of being reckless and not even showing remorse towards the injured Parker after he was injured.

The Diski Divas star has been by her husband’s side for over a decade. They have been through thick and thin, and often show their romantic side on social media.

The original message posted Instagram written in isiZulu and translates as: "God told the angels to wait for you. God gave you angels to look over your situation, and permission to work. God is your saviour and your strength. God is your protector, and he has commanded his angels to help you. Find peace.

Two months ago, he launched the publication of his autobiography From A Shack to Destiny. Speaking to Daily Sun at the time, Parker said: "The book is about Parker's journey of hope, belief, hard work and resilience."

Parker said he is now an author, and many books are in the works.

"I want to share my journey, which will give a lot of inspiration especially to the youth," Parker said.

He said the book is about his childhood, the circumstances and the obstacles he overcame.

The ex-Amakhosi star said his football career, friends and family life also feature in the book.

"It took us over a year to get everything together, a lot of hard work, time, proofreading, and facts," he said.
