MZANSI DJs Sphectacula and Naves have revealed their reason for dumping Metro FM and rejoining Gagasi FM.
The duo wants to finish what they started on Gagasi FM a few years ago.
They were known as the Kings of the Weekend on Metro FM and will now be the Kings of the Afternoon as they rejoin Gagasi FM to present the 3-6pm weekday drive-time slot alongside Zisto.
The two joined Gagasi FM from Metro FM in 2017 to present the afternoon-drive show. They then left Gagasi in 2019 and returned to Metro.
Their return was announced on Wednesday night, 27 March, in Durban. They'll take the mic in April.
DJ Naves, whose real name is Lebohang Naves, told Daily Sun: “Most importantly, we understand the project. Whatever Gagasi wants to do now and into the future, we're in line with it.
“Also, to bring up the next group of talent is still coming. We're aligned to Gagasi's key and touch points. We want to finish off what we started, help people and fulfill their dreams.”

Sphectacula, whose real name is Sphe Ngwenya, told Daily Sun they will stay on Gagasi FM as long as there is still Durban.
“We are very excited that the show will start on 1 April, we will be at Gagasi FM presenting and it will not be an April fool's joke.
“The show that we plan is something that will make you pay attention and really engage with what is happening because we brought the future right here. It starts on the first of April," he said.
Gagasi FM's head of audience experience, Alex Mthiyane said the afternoon show will be the same, however they will do it in a different way.
