POPULAR actress Connie Ferguson’s latest Instagram post, about Shona Ferguson celebrating her birthday, has touched people and reminded them of the late actor.

He died last July due to Covid-19-related complications.

To celebrate her 52nd birthday, Connie shared a video of her previous birthday with Shona, where he was telling her that he could not imagine life without her.

“Fifty-two. Your spirit lives forever Sho. Thank you for the everlasting birthday wishes. I love you for eternity,” read her post on social media.

After her post, Connie quickly started trending on Twitter from Friday, with people saying that their love was special.

Fellow actress Gail Mabalane wrote: “Love is forever! Happy birthday my sis. The first birthday without Mr Sho. May God continue strengthening you and filling every single void. I love you.”

Twitter user I Am Tsotso said Connie had received love in its purest form.

“Even if it was not for a lifetime… but Connie was blessed enough to have met, loved, and married her soulmate. It doesn’t happen every day. She experienced love in the purest form and that, in itself, is a blessing,” she wrote.

Then Nefertiti wrote: “That video Connie posted on IG is so heart-breaking and heart-warming at the same time. Death is such a thief. I know God’s ways are not to be questioned, but damn.”

Dollar Rose wrote: “That Connie reel of her late husband wishing her a happy birthday is so touching. The part where he said: ‘I can’t imagine life without you’ then he shed a tear following a silent moment. Yoh, life!”
