IT'S a job well done for actress Nolwazi Shange-Ngubeni.
The former Scandal! actress was over the moon after she was praised by many on Twitter for her work as a casting director on the telenovela, Umkhokha: The Curse.
The show made a comeback on Mzansi Magic channel 161 on Monday, 6 March, and the actress shared how grateful she was to be celebrated.
Known for her villain role as Mbali on e.tv's Scandal!, Nolwazi told Daily Sun that she is grateful for the opportunity.
"Being the casting director for Umkhokha: The Curse feels great. I was a fan of the show, so to be here now working on the telenovela is a great feeling," she said.
Nolwazi said that she's excited to see the amount of original and African stories being told on our TV screens.
"We're now spoiled for choice with new shows coming up. We're in a beautiful creative era," Nolwazi said.

The 39-year-old said people must expect drama, intrigue and a beautiful story on the telenovela.
"I think episode one is a strong foundation for that. My dream is to tell stories and telling the Umkhokha: The Curse story is one of the most compelling stories I get to tell,” she said.
The actress said being part of a show is incredibly intriguing as it provides many learning and growth opportunities.
Nolwazi said people should expect a lot of great storytelling from her.
"What's in store for me? Growth. I'm intentional about my growth this year. One of my main goals this year is to direct. I believe it's happening at the right time. I want to learn more and be challenged. I have the same excitement I had when I started in the industry."

Her message to talented youth is that they must work hard towards their dreams.
"Practise, study monologues, and performance techniques. Join local theatre groups if you can't study performance. Keep exercising the muscle of learning lines, performing and receiving critique to learn from. We now also have an amazing platform called social media, to market ourselves and our work. Make use of it," she said.
The actress said opportunities have increased immensely over the past few years and everyone must stay ready for when opportunity meets them.
