GOSPEL singer and songwriter Vuyokazi Maranisi believes she was sent by God to deliver what the world needs to know so people can change.
The 40-year-old told SunBuzz she was called to be part of the gospel of truth with her voice.
The singer from Ngqeleni in Eastern Cape, who now resides in Joburg, said: “I started singing at an early age in a youth choir. I was 16 when I first got into studio. I was a backing vocalist for Sizabantu Magaqa. He visited our church and asked my parents if I could back him. At first they were not happy about it because I was young but they later agreed,” said Vuyokazi.
The singer never looked back.
“Music is my life. It’s in my blood. Yes, it has its ups and downs as sometimes I feel like giving up but I can’t because it is my calling. I have to send a message to God’s people.”
