Rapper Malome Vector has without a doubt managed to cement his place in the entertainment industry.
The rising rapper from Lesotho took over the hip-hop scene both in Mzansi and in his home country after dropping his popular single Ke Thata two years ago.
Now, he is back with his debut album, Karabo.
Speaking to SunBuzz, the musician whose real name is Bokang Moleli said: “The past two years have been hard for musicians, so I was obviously affected too. I was signed by Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2020, which was a big thing for me. Unfortunately, I couldn’t fully enjoy the experience of hosting my own shows, and performing in big festivals and all the good things that would’ve come with signing to a big label,” said Vector.
He said he was super happy to finally work on his debut album.

Malome Vector said he had been working on the album for a while.
“This album has been in the works for a long time. I started working on it in 2018 and I’ve added songs that I’ve been wanting people to hear.
“I also wanted it to be perfect, and that’s why it took time to drop. It is dedicated to my daughter, Karabo and that’s why I named it after her and put her on the album cover,” he said.
“It is all about hope, love, my humble beginnings and journey. I wanted to do it for people who are like me and are on the same journey I was before being signed.
“When people listen to the album, they should know there’s always hope and that they will make it out of whatever situation they are in,” said the rapper.
The album features Sjava, Intaba Yase Dubai, Wave Rhyder, Ntate Stunna and Blaq Diamond.
“I chose musicians that I’ve been following and those whose music I love.
“Most importantly for me, I wanted to have a good connection with them. I believe you have to connect with people on a good level for you to make good music and work well together,” said Malome Vector. Karabo is available on all digital streaming platforms.
