UMKHOKHA: The Curse actress Deli Malinga has asked people to separate her from her character, Mamzobe.

This is because Mamzobe is ruthless and heartless and trashes anything that comes her way.

In the first season of the show, she killed a lot of people all because she wanted the church to be under her wing.

In this season, she continues to kill people and still wants to own the church of AmaJudiya. In the last few days she went as far as bringing her long lost son, Mlungisi to fight for the throne.

But it seems Deli's fans cannot separate her from Mamzobe as they keep bashing Deli.

She recently begged them to separate them and wrote: “My beautiful FAM bare with me on this one, there's a huge difference between a person and character (myself and what I do for a living) but I still love you so much for your love and support (mostly for #mamzobe character) it's really amazing! God bless you.”

Her followers sympathised with her and said they noted the attacks.

Mpho Tenyane said: “I saw a comment on one of the app’s there some people who are taking your character to heart negatively and focus should be on how well you are mastering the character, Zobisto.”

To which she responded: “Thank you Mpho, you seem to understand where I come from with todays’ caption,”

Matshue said: “You must be doing your job well MaMzobe for people to take it to heart. You understood the assignment very well. Am sure Delly is the opposite of MaMzobe.”

Hellen Katle wrote: “You are a gifted actress and we know that you are a good human being playing a part of Mamzobe and we love you for that.”

When Daily Sun contacted Deli, she said: “I am currently not in a position to talk about it,” before hanging up.
