UKHOZI FM presenter Phumlani "DJ Sgqemeza" Mbatha is officially a pastor.
Earlier in 2023, the former club DJ who has been with Ukhozi for about 20 years, surprised many when he announced he had stopped drinking alcohol and was a born-again Christian preaching the words of God.
Sgqemeza, who presents Vuka Afrika Breakfast Show alongside Mroza Buthelezi on Ukhozi, was officially anointed as pastor at Christian Fellowship Centre International Church in Pongola, KZN on Saturday, 9 December.
