Sbongi conveyed Ukhozi family's condolences to the Sihlophe family and Ukhozi listeners.
“We worked with Irvin very well. I have never heard anyone talk bad about Irvin. It was early to work with Irvin, and he was committed to working for Ukhozi FM.
"He always wanted to help anytime there was a need for help. We will feel his absence. We are heartbroken, but we cannot be against God’s decision. We will always love and remember Irvin," she said.
She said Irvin worked with almost all the departments at Ukhozi, including religious shows, sports and education.
“He would not complain, saying that it is not work. He would work and that is why he was in people’s lives. People loved him,” she said.
Sbongi said the funeral details will be announced in due course.
Irvin worked for Ukhozi for more than 15 years presenting a religious show called Unkulunkulu Nomuntu Omusha. He presented and produced sports shows and other shows.
