The incident happened outside Liquid Blue in Joburg.

The Instagram post of the singer, formerly known by the stage name Nakhane Touré, did not disclose much details except that it happened after the show and that he was in the company of a friend.

Nakhane wrote: “Joburg! Saturday night was a dream. A dream! I love you so much. I don’t think you will ever understand how much I love you. It’s taken me this long to talk to you because my friend and I got robbed outside Liquid Blue after the most amazing night.”

Nakhane supporters took turns comforting him.

Nzimande Simo said: “Hau sorry sweetheart... ”

Kobus Burger commented: “Loved seeing you live on home soil again. So sorry you got robbed. Hope you and your friend are OK.”
