SBUSISO “Sbu” Shongwe believes in always polishing his skills as a presenter and entertainer.

Sbu, who hails from Breyten in Mpumalanga, told SunBuzz: “From a very young age, I’ve always been intrigued by TV presenters. I wondered where they got their confidence to do what they do. This inspired me to work on my presenting skills to become one of the best presenters.”

Sbu is the host of season one of the McCafe Barista Search Show by McDonald’s SA.

He said the show is currently being aired on e.tv online.

“I also host a show called Ball N All on the Sports Connect Bouquet. It’s interesting because I get to interact with different personalities who share stories of how they made it in the sport industry,” he said.

Sbu is also a resident sport analyst on The Morning Show on e.tv every Thursday.

Besides TV presenting, Sbu has been featured on the Showmax movie, Love Heist.

The presenter said he has learnt to humble himself at all times in the entertainment industry.

Sbu told SunBuzz he is here to entertain and make his dreams a reality, and not to look rich and live a fake life.

He said you become a better version of yourself if you stay humble and spend time learning about yourself and your abilities.

Sbu hopes to host the second season of the McCafe Barista Search Show, which will be back again later this year.

“To my loyal supporters, I’m also shooting two local films.

“I am happy that my fans will experience the best side of me while playing different characters,” Sbu said.
