Dr Sam said this is done to protect the people. So, it will be moved to 16 December.
"In order to protect patrons and artists to this event and all stakeholders, Drakensberg promotions, joint operations committee as well as City of Tshwane, have decided to postpone the event to Saturday 16th December 2023 with a hope and trust that the tensions between the city and its striking employees would have been resolved.
"In the 24 years that this event has been staged, there has never been any incident of violence or injury, let alone any damage to property it is thus Drakensberg Promotions philosophy to ensure the safety of everyone attending this event and if there is any uncertainty precautions must be taken accordingly," he said.
He also said they will share more information soon.
"We will advise in due course of further logistics towards the new date once all stakeholders have been advised. Thank you once more for your continued support and understanding," said Dr Sam.
