ZEPHONIA Ngoepe, known as Zeph-MMT, released a song called Panyaza Leswifi in December 2023.

He said the song is about appreciating the Basic Education Education Minister Angie Motshekga and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi for their hard work in ensuring matric pupils excel at school.

The 36-year-old musician and actor from Mahube in Mamelodi East, Tshwane said he decided to appreciate the two prominent politicians while they're still alive.

"I want them to listen to the song and would love to meet them and give them the song."

He said he had never met them and wished to meet them.

Zeph-MMT said he wishes all educators could get the song so they can be motivated.

The musician said he is busy working on an album, which will be released soon.

He said that in 2022, he released a song called Umma with eight songs.

He said on Saturdays, he is busy doing plays at Market Theatre Laboratory in Joburg.

Zeph-MMT is hustling for survival as sometimes he does part-time jobs to put food on the table.

He advises young people to follow their dreams and never to give up.

In 2020, he published a book titled The Love of My Soul

Zeph-MMT said it's always good to celebrate people while they are still alive.

Those who want to listen to his new song can get it on various streaming platforms.

Lesufi's spokesman, Sizwe Pamla, said it's always good to hear that there are people who appreciate the premier's work.

"Lesufi is always working hard making sure that people get service delivery, and his government is people driven," he said.
