SABC1 Xhosa newsreader, Lisakhanya Pepe, is officially off the market

MOST men often go weak at the knees every time they watch her read the news on television.

But the bad news for them is that the sexy SABC1 Xhosa newsreader, Lisakhanya Pepe, is officially off the market. This is because one lucky man has won the heart of the petite newsreader and made her his makoti.

Daily Sun understands that the sleepy town of Ntabankulu in the Eastern Cape came to life this past weekend when Lisakhanya traditionally married her long time boyfriend.

She was officially welcomed as umakoti during ukutyiswa umakoti utsiki ceremony (official welcoming of the bride and uniting of the two families).

Ululations and umxhentso (Xhosa dance) were said to be the order of the day and Daily Sun understands that Lisakhanya, who hails from Alice in the Eastern Cape, was given the name Osisipho (one who is a gift) by her Mkhize in-laws.

Lisakhanya was not available for comment, but insiders revealed to the People’s Paper that she was over the moon and was elated to finally be Mrs Mkhize.
