Thomas Gumede works hard for his little champ!

MZANSI film director and actor Thomas Gumede recently shared that he’s doing everything in his power to make his little man proud.

On Monday, 8 August, Thomas took to Twitter and shared a photo of him and his son with actress Zola Nomboma.

The 36-year-old award-winning producer from KZN said he wanted to build a legacy for their son, Cebelihle.

Thomas said his son motivates him to work hard every day.

He wrote: “Find that motivation to keep going. Every second I spend with my son gives me more energy, creativity, resilience and determination.”

“You could have stopped me before, now it’s too late. I will NEVER stop building a legacy for this young man.”

Thomas is well-known for his leading role in the SABC1 drama series, A Place Called Home.

He played the role of a brilliant young man named Siphiwe.

Thomas has also featured on several shows in Mzansi, including Backstage, Home Affairs, and Soul City.

He has starred alongside American top actor, Idris Elba, in the film Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.

The actor inspired many young people, who commented on his tweet.

Kabelo said it’s wonderful to see young parents sharing great moments with their kids.

“That’s powerful, my brother. Inspirational. You guys look fly,” said Sibusiso Mofokeng.

Love said: “That’s the spirit, King.”

“Very important to choose people you procreate with because yoh ngwana a tla ba botsana yong (your child is beautiful),” said Maishibe.
