IT was a sad day for the Seloga family and Thobela FM presenters as they bid farewell to their beloved radio host, JJ Menu.

The radio presenter, whose real name was Johanna Seboishi Seloga, was laid to rest at Silicon Cemetery in Polokwane, Limpopo on Saturday, 29 October.

JJ Menu died on Monday, 23 October, at the age of 39.

She leaves behind three children, two girls and a boy.

During her send-off, family and colleagues couldn't hold back their tears as her coffin was lowered into the grave.

Her husband, Isaiah Seloga (45), said he lost a true friend, remembering how they enjoyed every moment together.

Isaiah said he is happy that his late wife changed lives with her projects across Mzansi.

"I'll always remember her for all the good things she did for us as a family and for others. She loved everyone, and she was also loved by many people," he said.

Thobela FM programmes manager Florina Sebola said JJ Menu's untimely death was saddening.

Florina said she felt the need to talk to her before she died.

"There was something in me telling me that she wasn't doing well. We'll remember her for her kindness," she said.

The presenter was popularly known for her Sunday Show called Lesang Bana. This show made her connect with young people.

JJ Menu was also the producer of a programme called Moremogolo.
