STARS of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen have shown gratitude to the Ferguson Film production team and their loyal supporters.
This as the show came to an end on Friday, 13 January.
Sthembiso “SK” Khoza, Loyiso Macdonald, Vuyo Ngcukana have shared how their journey has been on the show and how grateful they are to production company for giving them a chance.
SK, who played Shaka Khoza, uploaded a video of himself on Instagram while on set on the very first episode of the telenovela.
He wrote: “@the_queen_mzansi Season One Episode One…#CumOnWitItSK.”
In the video the actor is heard saying his favourite moment was when he was fighting with one of his enemies. He said they did the best they could with season one and they all wanted another season on the show.
SK also shared another video of him being shot, saying he was taking a bow.
“Take a bow, my Queen team…cheers,” he said.
Actor Nimrod Nkosi said SK Khoza did very well in the first episode. He wished others well on their journey.
Loyiso, who played Kagiso Khoza and left the show after five seasons, said he had a beautiful journey.

Vuyo said he had the most amazing time on set playing the role of the troublesome Schumacher.
He took to Instagram and wrote: “The first time I truly felt like I belonged to the arts was after finishing a show in Makhanda at the Arts Festival in 2004. We got a standing ovation with a thunderous applause. I sobbed on the bus ride home because I knew that my character did something for someone that day.”

The actor said he told himself that he will always go all out in his roles and entertain the masses.
“I have enjoyed what Schumacher has done for many people who have been fans of the show, particularly those who started with us from the beginning and got to see the growth. I hope I have inspired the have-nots and brought hope to the underdogs. Your greatness lies within,” he said.
