Thandiswa Mazwai’s proud mum moment

LEGENDARY singer and songwriter Thandiswa Mazwai is proud of her daughter!

She shared how wonderful her daughter, Malaika, is.

The 46-year-old musician from the Eastern Cape shared that her daughter is following in her footsteps as a creative.

On Friday, 24 June, Thandiswa shared on Twitter that Malaika is about to start her journey as a TV producer.

The singer wrote: “Ps guys my daughter is about to start her TV producer/writer career. The name is Malaika Mazwai. You already know. I’ve been rocking with her since day one.”

To make her followers aware of her post, the lead singer of the iconic music group, Bongo Maffin, added the hashtag: #mydaughter #shecandoanythingshedreams and #blackgirlsrock.

Malaika is also following in the footsteps of her aunts who are in the entertainment industry, Ntsiki and Nomsa Mazwai.

The Nizalwa Ngobani? hitmaker’s post was flooded with congratulatory messages from her fans.

Nomsa Khanyile said: “Congrats to you both! This is amazing.”

“Congratulations Sisi, you are such a great parent. May she shine and grow to heights that are yet to be discovered. Makwande,” Nathi Myeni said.

Tebogo Ditshego said this was amazing.
