RASTA has new competition and unlike him, Tebogo Dithalane's portraits are spot on.
People often criticise Rasta's paintings of prominent celebrities, with the majority saying the painting looks nothing like the person.
However, the 21-year-old Tebogo from Mabopane, Tshwane, has recently been making waves on social media for his paintings.
He has started gifting artists at their gigs with portraits he painted of them. He told Daily Sun that he has been an artist his whole life.
"I am a self-taught artist. At the age of 12 I was interested in art but not that much. My dad Richard Dithalane pushed me through to work and he's the one who introduced me to this industry.
"In 2017 I went to Pro Arte Alphen Park just for a year and my art piece was chosen at the State Theatre for exhibition," he said.
He said he has always wanted to do something different.

“I thought about this idea when I was marketing myself at Market Wa Pitori in Foresthill to gift celebrities with a painting of themselves while they are performing,” he said.
Tebogo said he has gifted DJ Lamiez and DJ Shizo so far.
“The two are big artists and I feel like they also love their fans too,” he said.
He said he will be doing it regularly.
“I like to put a smile on their face to show some love and support. I hope that everything goes well in terms of reaching my goals. My dream is to become big, for the people to love my work and to collaborate with another big artist,” he said.
