AFTER a seven-year break from main stream radio, seasoned presenter Thabo “Tbo Touch” Molefe is set to make a comeback.

According to well-placed sources, the media personality who left back in 2016 and started his own station Touch HD while also serving on the board of Soweto TV, is making a comeback to Metro FM.

“He will be a part of the new line-up changes that the station will be making in the new radio financial. He is excited to be back at home,” said the source.

It is not yet clear which show Tbo Touch will be presenting.

But when he resigned from the popular station, he was hosting the drive-time show.

He allegedly resigned because the SABC refused to take accountability and correct claims that he was once suspended for refusing to read an advert on air, resulting in the broadcaster losing millions.

“It was about principle. If I did not believe in myself, I would not have resigned as the host of the number one radio show nationwide,” he said at the time.

Daily Sun reached out to Tbo Touch for a comment, and he said we should contact the SABC.

Then the broadcaster’s group executive for corporate affairs and marketing, Gugu Ntuli, said Metro FM management would communicate line-up changes in due course.
