SOMIZI’S daughter Bahumi Mhlongo has opened up about having a gay father.

She said it has never been a problem and it has never come up in their conversation.

“I’ve never spoken about having a gay dad. That’s because having a gay dad was not a factor for me. I couldn’t necessarily differentiate between gay dad and straight dad. It was just a dad for me. I just knew he was there for me. It never changed how I look at him as a father,” said Bahumi.

She spoke about her relationship with her father on Living the Dream with Somizi, in the fourth episode of the fifth season.

During this episode, Somizi also hosted a dinner party which was attended by his successful celebrity friends such as Pearl Thusi, Cassper Nyovest, Judith Sephuma, and Rami Chuene. .

He revealed that he doesn’t want Bahumi to struggle and that she must not be apologetic about her parents.

“She mustn’t be apologetic for who her parents are. In fact, she must use that because I didn’t work my a** off for her struggle,” said Somizi.

In this episode, he also addressed the issue of his breakup with Mohale.

During telephone conversation with Shauwn Mkhize, he said: “I need you to connect me with your tax lawyer, because they are after me. They’re trying to be personal and I will not entertain that. I want things to be done lawfully. I just got a letter from my ex’s lawyer. So I also need a divorce lawyer. Imagine, he wants half of my assets,” he said.

“You don’t just walk into somebody’s life and do nothing and expect to leave with everything. That’s being a con artist, a shoplifter, a robber, actually he has another name, it’s a money heist. So no.”

He then pleaded with Shauwn to introduce him to her lawyers because he wanted to teach his ex a lesson.

“When you come back I want us to meet so you can introduce me to him. I need to teach him a lesson.”

Shauwn supported Somizi and said: “He’s crazy. He’s out of his mind. Are we supposed to work hard and give people half?”

On 9 May, TshisaLIVE reported that Mohale reacted to claims he’s fighting to obtain half of Somizi’s estate when a Twitter user, Musa Khawula, reported that Mohale was demanding 50% of Somizi’s estate, which he claimed had three beneficiaries including him, his baby mama actress Palesa Madisakwane and Bahumi.

The publication reported that Mohale laughed off the claims, saying: “E fang (give) Musa Khawula my number so he can at least report factual news,” he wrote.

TshisaLIVE reported that they reached out to Mohale, but he declined to speak about the matter.

A tweep, Virgo Girl, tweeted to Mohale: “Shame Somizi made you fly in private planes.”

Mohale responded: “He was my husband, wasn’t he? Who was he supposed to fly? You?”
