MEDIA personality Somizi has announced that his cookbook, Dinner At Somizi’s: I’m Not a Chef, is ready.

Somizi, who recently had a cooking show on 1 Magic, made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, 17 November.

He shared a video of himself telling people about the book.

“I am super excited to tell you that finally, my book is complete, done. It’s not released yet, but is soon to be released in less than two weeks,” he said.

Somizi said he wanted his cookbook to break records.

“I want and would like to break records, but I can’t do that without you. So please pre-order,” said Somizi.

In another post, Somizi said judging by the pre-orders the book got, he might just reach his goal and break a record.

Somizi has been promising his fans a cookbook for years now.

In September, he finally announced that he was working on the book and it would be published soon.

The book comes after his cooking show, Dinner At Somizi’s, which aired on Fridays on 1 Magic.

The cooking show saw him cooking and chatting to Mzansi celebs such as Pearl Thusi, Cassper Nyovest, Jub Jub, Ringo Madlingozi, Vusi Nova and the Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi.
