LADY Luck seems to have shown Sol Phenduka some love.

It has been announced that the former YFM and 5FM presenter will co-host a Big Brother Mzansi’s spin-off show called Ses’fikile.

The 35-year-old will be hosting alongside popular podcaster and DJ MacG.

The two friends also work together on the controversial Podcast and Chill.

The new late-night talk show, which premiers on Friday 29 April on Mzansi Wethu, will feature seven firm favourite Big Brother Mzansi housemates.

Shirley Adonisi, M-Net director of local entertainment channels, said Sol was the right person for the show.

“We didn’t host any auditions. We all just agreed that he was the perfect fit for this show,” she said.

“We’re excited to have our first original spin-off show that resonates with our audiences and that will no doubt keep our viewers entertained.

“Our objective is always to find new talent and nurture them as they take a leap into achieving their dreams.

“As a channel, we are committed to the growth of our talent and this is one of the many ways we aim to facilitate this.”

Ses’fikile premieres exclusively on Mzansi Wethu (DStv Channel 163) on Friday 29 April at 9.30pm
