FORMER Idols SA star Snenhlanhla “Sneziey” Msomi is one of the most loved and talented musicians in Mzansi.

And most of all, she is comfortable with her plus-size body.

The season 15 runner-up has joined model Lesego Legobane, affectionately known as ThickLeeYonce, on encouraging plus-size women to love their bodies.

She said she has always been a big girl, and learnt to embrace her body.

“Loving your body is a good thing. It’s perfect but it’s not easy, especially when some people enjoy body-shaming others. But we must come to a point where we say: ‘we don’t have a choice but to praise God for how He created us’, then embrace who and how we are. Haters will always be there. But we must exhibit our confidence right in front of them,” said Sneziey, who got married last December.

She has recently been flaunting her curves on social media, rocking ThickLeeYonce’s plus-size clothing label.

Sneziey has commended women who appreciate their bodies, adding that she believed being sexy was a vibe, not a size.

She said she was proud of being a plus-size woman.

“That’s my supper power. There’s nothing I can’t wear. I can wear revealing clothes, flaunting my beautiful curves. I’m a beautiful creature of God. I’m happy and I’m comfortable with my own self.”

She added that being close with people such as ThickLeeYonce taught her a lot about self-love and confidence.
