POPULAR Skeem Saam actress Innocent “Inno” Sadiki is going to Pastors’ Wives.

The new season of the reality show will hit the small screens later this month, and Inno has returned.

She shared the news on social media after showing the trailer. She was on the first season that premiered in 2021, but did not return for the second one.

And she spoke to Daily Sun about it.

“Initially, I was part of the cast but something came up. We tried seeing how we could juggle both, but we couldn’t. I thought I could fly in every weekend but the schedule was hectic.

“It wasn’t going to work,” she said at the time.

Inno, who is also a preacher, said people will see her embracing that side of her in the new season.

“Knowing what I know now after the past two seasons, I’m in my own lane.

“I’m just minding me, focusing on myself and being particular about people not seeing a different Inno on social media than the one on the show,” she said.

“The same Inno who does Christian content on social media is still the same one on the show. I was intentional to say I want people to see the side of me that they know. In the first season it was hard because I didn’t know what it was about.

“I had to go with the flow. But now, there’s nothing for me to lose or gain,” said Inno.

She said she also witnessed some changes from the other wives.

“From the season holistically, it’s going to be the biggest one yet. There’s a lot of growth and development. People will get to see Inno taking ministry more seriously. I’m content in where God has positioned me as a preacher. I’m walking more in confidence and power,” she said.

“I also became less judgmental to other people. I won’t judge other wives,” the actress said.

Pastor’s Wives premieres on Honey (DStv channel 173) on 31 July at 9pm.
