A LIRA lookalike has caused a stir because people have mistaken her for the singer.
The doppelganger was seen in a video in which she declared that she would vote for the MK party. The video was posted on the TikTok page of the party's youth league.
People on social media started calling her Lira, which led many to assume she was the famous singer,
.This was followed by tweets and even videos on YouTube claiming that Lira would join the party.
She spoke to Daily Sun about the matter and said she is currently seeking legal advice.

"I have no association with the MK party. I am taking legal advice on how to handle the matter," she said.
The MK's spokesman, Nhlamulo Ndlela, said the party was not to blame and that it would not get involved.
"MK will not involve itself in this," he said.
Lira is recovering from a stroke she suffered while in Germany in 2022.
The singer has also just announced that she will host her first concert since the stroke. The concert will take place on Saturday, 25 May at Constitution Hill in Braamfontein.
"I'M so excited and looking forward to being back on stage and performing at the Bassline Fest Africa Day Celebration on Saturday. What makes this performance so special is that we are not only celebrating 30 years of democracy in South Africa, but also the new lira and Bassline's 30th anniversary.
