Bassie shared with Daily Sun that the song was about apologising to her parents for not coming home.
“My parents basically always want me to come back home, but I can’t because music is always calling my name. I am always out on gigs and I have performances, so they want me to come home but I can’t because of the career I chose. I am asking for their forgiveness,” she said.
Bassie said that though it was an apology, it was also an amapiano song that people could vibe to.
