HE promoted his healing business every day and received a lot of attention.
Lately, the self-proclaimed prophet Tebogo Makena has not been seen in videos talking about his business.
When Daily Sun contacted him, the 30-year-old ex-convict from Mamelodi, east of Tshwane, said he was far away from South Africa.
"I'm away. I'm in Russia," he said.
Many social media users wonder what has become of him.
While some claim that business could be difficult for him, others said he was keeping a low profile because he could be under investigation.
Tebogo became popular after he posted videos of himself unpacking luxury shoes while in prison.
He served seven years after being convicted of malicious damage to state property, trespassing, fraud and forgery.

When he got out of prison, he opened a business claiming to be an oracle and helping people.
Some of his services included tightening relationships for R25 000, marriages for R20 000 and river cleansing for R10 000. A designer consultation cost up to R75 000.
"I only help people who stay in big houses, drive expensive cars and have a lot of money in the bank," Tebogo said at the time.
He had previously told Daily Sun that his clients were only the rich and famous.
"I was born that way. I'm no ordinary prophet. I'm above everything. That's my gift," he claimed.
Tebogo claimed to have seen visions in prison, but never took them seriously. But when he came out, he knew he had to start his journey.
"Now, I help people. It's something I was born with," he said.
He said his prices were not for everyone.
"I only help people who have money. I perform my rituals on dangerous mountains that people fear to climb," he said.
