GASHWAN Mthombeni will be the first guest on Big Brother Mzansi spin-off Ses’fikile.
The media personality, originally from Soshanguve in Tshwane, will be sitting down with controversial podcaster Sol Phenduka to talk about his life since leaving the Big Brother house.
Gashwan, who was the show’s runner-up, told Daily Sun people would get to see him in a different light.
“People are going to learn more about me, my upbringing and the more vulnerable side of me. I’ll fill them in on my plans for the future. My life has changed since I appeared on the show but I still believe I have a long way to go,” he said.
The 28-year-old said the experience taught him new things about himself. “It was more my journey and it had nothing to do with the people around me. Although I managed to find a little bit out about myself, there is still a lot to uncover.”

Gashwan said although there were 18 other housemates, he didn’t form any friendships.
“As soon as I left the house, I tried to start friendships with the guys who were in the top five but it never really worked out because we don’t align,” he said.
During his 71 days in the house, Gashwan fell for internet sensation Thato Mokoena and they’ve continued their relationship.
“You can’t really choose where happiness will find you. I’m just grateful it happened and we are currently taking things one step at a time to ensure our love grows and blossoms,” said Gashwan.
He said if the opportunity presented itself, he would love to act or be a presenter.
