POPULAR traditional healer and singer Ntsikelelo "Ntsika Rise" Colossa has released an EP.

The prophet from Thabong in Welkom, Free State released an EP titled Mpambano, which is traditional spiritual music for abogogo.

Ntsika said the EP is healing, life transformative, and a completely new genre for sangoma sound.

"We released a single on 7 July and we are busy with it's activation. It will be followed by an EP in September on Heritage Day," he said.

Ntsika has been nominated as Best Vocalist and Best International Artist at The AfriFame Awards in Ghana.

He said his music has a message of hope, new beginnings, and transformation.

"So, the closest description of the EP is about the calling coming to you and you approaching it. This 'Mpambano' speaks when a transformation happens in an individual's life," he said.

"When you explore 'Gogo Wam' you understand that this EP is about a journey of a man or woman who needs directions from a grandmother. We know that grandparents are protective towards their grandchildren. Therefore, calling upon them is a major connection in this lifetime," he said.

Ntsika Rise has reassured fans that the journey of music and showbiz has not been easy but this time he has a supporting team that understands his brand and calling.

He said he started paying attention to his prophetic calling at a tender age of 13.
