THE troubles that Skeem Saam’s Paxton is facing are clearly very different to the situation Thabiso Molokomme (20) finds himself in!

The rising star has just graduated cum laude with a diploma in operations management from the University of Joburg.

In the meantime, the character Paxton failed his grade and is a troublesome boy at school and home.

Thabiso, who is also a YoTV presenter, said he worked hard to get his qualification.

“I’m much more than excited. I worked long mornings, days and nights to achieve this and I’m extremely proud of myself.

“This shows that having big goals, praying and working hard, can get you anywhere,” he said.

Asked how he juggled being an actor, TV presenter, MC, voice-over artist and co-founder of a non-profit organisation, he said he is led by his passion.

“There is no specific answer to how I managed it but I’ve always been a passionate person.

“I only get involved in things I’m passionate about. Even if it’s five things at the same time, I’ll still work and try to excel,” he said.

Thabiso said he’ll use his qualification to help young people.

“I’ll use the qualification in my entrepreneurial journey. I won’t be going into corporate work because I believe I’m one of the young people who is privileged to inspire young people to create their own legacies and not go with the traditional way of doing things,” he said.
