Nonku said she cannot wait for viewers to watch the new season of Real Housewives of Durban.

REAL Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Nonku Williams is over her ex-fiance, Rough Diamond.

Rough Diamond (RD), whose real name is Dumisani Ndlanzi, was the man in Nonku’s life in season three of the Showmax show. However, they broke up shortly after filming ended.

When Nonku (44) attended the reunion in May 2023, she announced that they had broken up.

During the season, RD met Nonku’s family and bought her a car. They also got engaged after the season ended.

They were the "it" couple of the previous season, but they had a messy break-up.

When Daily Sun spoke to Nonku about her break-up with RD, she said she was not in tears over it.

She further said people would see more in the new season of RHOD that’s starting on Friday, 9 February.

“Don’t you see how glowed up and good I look? I’m at my most happiest. I’m very content with my life, I’m happy,” she said.

Nonku then spoke about what viewers can expect from the new season.

“Obviously, the OGS are back. I’m back, surprisingly, Jojo’s back, Sorisha’s back, Maria too. And there are new girls as well. So, it’s diverse people and it’s going to be clashing personalities because we’re all queens in our own right.

“Viewers can expect harmony at first, then the drama is going to begin.  It’s going to be entertaining,” she said.

Three new cast members are joining including former Generations actress, Zama Ngcobo, Ameigh Thompson and Angel Ndlela. Nonku said they tried to be welcoming to them.

“The nature of the show is not easy, especially because they are trying to find their right foot. Fortunately, the old cast was welcoming, or I think from my side, I was welcoming. It really wasn’t easy at first, but I can’t say much though. People need to stay tuned. All I can say is that people should be ready,” Nonku said.
