Rasta, whose real name is Lebani Sirenje, received a thumbs up from the South African dancer.
Musa received the painting after his landing at the OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday, 8 July. He was very impressed by the artwork.
“Wow, I love the painting. Thank you, Rasta," he said.
Musa said he appreciated the gesture.
Rasta was happy that people at the airport, who saw his painting, also loved it.
“My paintings are always criticised but today it’s wonderful to hear people, including Musa, compliment my work. This shows my work is improving," he said.
Themba Khambule (46) from Sebokeng in the Vaal said this is one of Rasta’s best artworks.
“This shows that practice makes perfect. I know he had been receiving backlash on some of his paintings. But I believe he needs to get credit for Musa’s one,” he said.
