RAPPER Gigi Lamayne has said that her gobela is the best. The musician, whose real name is Genesis Manney, took to Instagram to let Mkhulu Mlozi know how wonderful it was to be under his guidance.

The 27-year-old from Lenasia, south of Joburg, said she is who she is now because of her gobela, who helped her grow spiritually.

Gigi Lamayne said she was broken when she started with her initiation. She said she was just going through a rough time while her calling demanded a lot.

On Thursday, 28 July, Gigi Lamayne wrote: “I was broken, sick and scared. You taught me about being an African and that it was and still superpower.”

The rapper said she saw her dreams come true because of Mkhulu Mlozi.

“You were patient with my spirit, very volatile yet powerful and you spoke to it and to me,” she said.

She also wished him well on his birthday.
