RADIO personality Putco Mafani is preaching the gospel of being grateful, especially in these difficult times.

He has penned a motivational Facebook post and reminded people that it’s not because of their powers, prayers or intelligence that they are still alive, but the grace of God.

He wrote: “The same qualifications you have, e.g. certificate, diploma, bachelors, masters, PhD, that gave you the job you have are the same qualifications that someone has, but does not have job. Be grateful.

“The same pastor who officiated at your marriage and today you even have children, is the same pastor who officiated and blessed someone’s marriage but they do not have children and some eventually divorced. Be grateful. The same prayer you prayed and God answered, is the same prayer that someone has been praying, but up to now they have not received answers and are still praying. Be grateful.

“The same road you use to travel to places and return home safely, is the same road that many people have died on. Be grateful. The same church you go to worship and God has blessed you, is the same church that someone goes to worship too, but up to now their life is still in discord. Be grateful.

“The same bed you used in the hospital and got discharged, is the same bed that someone used and died in. Be grateful,” his post continued.

“Be grateful because whatever you have, is not by your power, nor your intelligence, nor your qualifications, but the Grace of God. Remember he is the giver of everything you have. Be grateful. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. God bless you and have a great week ahead.”
