AS Christmas approaches, families are preparing to buy presents and food.
Melrose Arch is prepared and has done all it can to spread the spirit of Christmas.
A Pringles and Fanta Pop-up Playground opened at Melrose Arch in Joburg on Wednesday night, 13 December.
Celebrities, influencers and shoppers gathered at the site to enjoy delicious food and drinks while playing games and listening to good music.
The head of Pringles South Africa, Krean Maistry, said they wanted to create a place where the world blends together.
"We wanted to provide a culinary experience, but also an interactive playground. It’s a place where everyone can have fun with the activities we offer," he said.
He said they wanted to offer food, fun and activities that consumers enjoy doing.
International celebrity chef Lorna Maseko and comedian Robby Collins were the hosts for the evening.
Robby said the playground will be on display until 31 December 2023.

Media personality Maps Maponyane was also among the celebrities who were there, saying he was happy to experience the playground.
He said Pringles and Fanta are a combination of two fun and loving brands.
"The fact that they teamed up makes sense for the Playground. There are a lot of activities, and I had fun DJing and playing some reflex games," he said.
The Pringles x Fanta Playground run at the Melrose Arch Piazza 11-31 December 2023 11am – 10pm Monday to Thursday, 9am- 10pm Friday to Sunday, and until 1am on New Year’s Eve.
