Amadada leader Nhlanhla "Sgaqa" Chiliza told Daily Sun that they also want to encourage the youth that they could make a career out of dancing.

“As Amadada dancers, we have been dancing for different artists at Afrotainment for over five years now, and we are able to put bread on the table for our families.

“We teach the youth about the importance of choreography in dance,” he said.

Sgaqa said their classes are open to everyone.

“Many musicians need good dancers who can do great choreographed moves in style. So, we are here to provide those lessons.

“There are also dance move challenges for TikTok and those challenges require the dancers who know their story,” he said.

Sgaqa said they will forever be grateful to DJ Tira who gave them a chance to be Afrotainment dancers.

“DJ Tira is giving us opportunities individually to showcase our other talents.

“I have teamed up with Slot The MC and we've formed a duo called SOS. We released a single titled Nyakaza. While Slender The DJ was given an opportunity to be a DJ, others are also doing other projects,” Sgaqa said.

He said although they have individual projects, they often work together as a group.

Gqom musician Tipcee told SunBuzz she attended the Amadada classes on Saturday, 11 March.

“During the classes we also recorded a TikTok challenge for my new song featuring Big Zulu, titled Imali,” she said.
