PODCAST and Chill host MacG has divided Twitter.
MacG, whose real name is MacGyver Mukhwevho, made it to the top of the trending list on Saturday night, 14 May, with the hashtag #IsMacGWrong.
MacG found himself in hot water after he claimed television host Minnie Dlamini and influencer Mihlali Ndamase live fake lives on Thursday.
Social media users weren’t happy with how he addressed the recent cheating rumours about Minnie. Some were supporting him while other were against him on this topic.
Minnie and her estranged husband Quinton Jones have released a joint statement rubbishing the allegations, saying that the rumours were “false and malicious”.
MacG said there is no difference between Minnie and popular dancer Zodwa Wabantu. He alleged that they both sell their bodies to make money.

MacG also said they should stop selling young girls fake dreams.
Tweeps discussed how he addressed certain topics, especially those that involve women.
Afrika Bambaanaa said: “MacG is wrong. Respect goes a long way. He abused the platform to disrespect black women, especially when there’s a fight to protect women. He undermined and degraded Minnie Dlamini. Why doesn’t he speak about male celebs and who they have slept with?”
Lofty said: “Smart people quickly realise what isn’t for them and instead of trying to change it, they accept it for what it is and disassociate themselves. You look really foolish when you come and complain about MacG’s content as if you’re forced to watch or listen to it.”
Nkabikamsholozi wrote: “It’s simple and straight forward, if you want to understand you will understand. The whole point is what Minnie, Mihlali and co. are doing is misleading the young girl child finish and klaar.”
