PLUS Size Black Diamonds SA, a body positivity and events host, is calling izidudla to come and celebrate at the "Summer kea Didudla" East Rand pool party.
The massive party will take place on Saturday, 30 September, at The Farm family resort in Lilyvale, Benoni, Ekurhuleni.
The theme for the event is Rainbow, and tickets are already selling like fat cakes at Computicket for R150.
Founder and event organiser Neo Maboya said: “The ever vibrant plus-size black diamond ladies are welcoming spring and the festive season in style with the theme, ‘Summer kea didudla’.
"The event will be graced by renowned artists and DJs from across Gauteng. Food, fashion, cocktails and lots of business stalls will be the order of the day.”
Neo said the event is about being comfortable with yourself and enjoying life to the full, no matter what body size you are.

"Summer kea Didudla Pool Party is a very important event because most women are afraid to wear swimwear in public places, so we decided to create this safe space for the plus-size community.
"In this space, they can come and enjoy themselves without being judged. We also know that once they come to the event their self-confidence will be boosted,” she said.
Neo urged plus-size women to come and join them because they will not just be providing fun, but an awareness campaign as well.
"As plus-size women, we are often body-shamed by society. In most cases, those hurtful comments come from our loved ones who should know better. The sly comments are often intended to make fun of our bodies. They are intentional and we are expected to play right along even if we are hurt. So, this event will address all these issues,” she said.
She said they intend to take this event countrywide because they want to reach every corner of Mzansi.
