DSTV has confirmed that social media guru and multimedia personality Pamela Mtanga will be joining Smash Afrika as the co-host of Massive Music, Channel O’s popular music show.

The fashion trailblazer managed to bag a co-pilot gig on the vibey 30-minute programme – her first prime-time TV position. She will start on Friday, 5 August, on channel 320 on DStv.

Pamela also shared the news on Instagram, writing that she could not wait to start the journey.

“Something about a cat being out the bag, andazi nam’. It brings me great pleasure to announce (ndizenza important ke apha) that I am officially a part of the @channelotv family as a presenter on Massive Music! Around time next week, you’ll be tuned in and allowing myself and @smashafrika to usher you into the weekend. Friday, @7pm, we have a date on @channelotv,” she posted.

Things have been going well for Pamela this year, as it started with her being recognised as an outstanding personality and influencer at the Top 16 Youth-owned Brands Awards, hosted by Pat on Brands.

She is a sterling MC and has hosted numerous brand activations/launches, corporate events, webinars and pageants. She is also a voice-over artist and TV/Radio presenter.

The brand influencer has also worked with big names including Stimorol, Vodacom NXT LVL, Nedbank and Philips.
