THE Miss Teen Universe South Africa and Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa contestants are getting ready for the big finale taking place in three weeks.
The beauty pageant crowning is set to take place on 12 March at the Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom in Durban.
Ntombi Gumede, director at Miss Teen Universe South Africa, said people should expect nothing but top-of-the range entertainment.
“Everyone is excited about our upcoming event. It’s going to be a beautiful evening – finding a new Miss Teen Universe South Africa will be a difficult task for the judges as all the girls are equally prepared and the outgoing queens have really raised the bar.
“The event will start on Saturday, 11 March with the contestants’ interviews, followed by prejudging and crowning on Sunday. And then, a media tour the following day, Monday in Joburg, followed by a Meet & Greet at the Maslow Hotel,” she continued.
The pageant will be hosted by two former winners, Langa Jiane (17) and Katlego Ncala (22).
“ They are both very young, talented entertainers. Both these ladies are already in the spotlight. Langa plays Mbuso on SABC1’s Uzalo and Katlego was SABC1’s YoTV presenter,” she said.

Each winner will be representing South Africa in these big five international pageants abroad,” she said.
