AMAPIANO sensation, Pabi Cooper, is on cloud nine after receiving a platinum plaque for her hit Banyana ke Bafana and a 100 000 plaque from YouTube.
She took to social media to announce the news. The song she was awarded the plaque after she recently took over social media with a dance challenge.
“Oh, damn! Platinum girls, we’re up. Went platinum again, this time two months under my record label. And 100k subscription for YouTube. God is good,” she wrote.
“Shout-out to my team, family and the LOML. Thank you for your support. My supporters? Cooper FC? OMG, I love you guys. This is because of you all man.”
Her fans and fellow industry peers quickly started congratulating her on the accolades.

Last month, Pabi took a short break from music because she was hospitalised due to fatigue. She took to social media to share that she was back, thanking her fans for supporting her.
“I’m back and stronger. Ready to do better. Grateful to everyone who noticed that I was not okay and sent through messages and prayers. All the hospital visits and flowers. Thank you so much, Cooper FC. See you at the gigs,” she wrote at the time.
